Frequently Asked Questions

Does this work with my existing WhatsApp Business account? +
The integration uses the WhatsApp Business API, which is separate from the WhatsApp Business app. We help you get API access through a Meta-approved BSP (Business Solution Provider) as part of the setup.
Will messages be sent automatically or manually? +
Both. Invoices and documents can be sent manually with one click from the voucher screen. Payment reminders can be configured to send automatically based on overdue days as set in Tally's outstanding report.
What happens if a customer's number is not on WhatsApp? +
The system checks if the number is registered on WhatsApp before sending. If not, you'll get a notification and can choose to send via SMS or email as a fallback.
Can I customize the message templates? +
Yes. We set up 3 custom message templates during installation — typically for invoices, payment reminders, and statements. Additional templates can be added as needed. All templates must be pre-approved by Meta.
Is this compatible with TallyPrime Server? +
Yes. The WhatsApp integration works with TallyPrime Silver, Gold, and Server editions. Users on TallyPrime Server can all send messages from their workstations.
